Hello!
I am Katie and I blog over at Unwritten where I talk about my life, my guy, the amazing things I find on Pinterest, my love for coffee and lots of other random things.
I can't believe our Nicole is all married and officially MRS. COLE now! I can't wait to see all the pictures of our GORGEOUS bride. I know she has prepared her heart for this season of life and I am so excited for her and Tyler.
I love everything about engagments, weddings, and marriage. While I am not engaged or married yet, I do have a very handsome guy to call mine.
This is Gerard, my sweet boy of 3 1/2 years

It is still a mystery to me as to how people planned weddings before Pinterest! Ha! I try not to look at the Pinterest wedding boards too much because I do feel that it gives me an anxious heart about when I will get married. However, I have found PLENTY of great wedding ideas, sweet engagement videos, etc.
Here are some pins that I love...
As hard as it can be waiting for the "next step" I have truly tried to enjoy the stage our relationship is in and not worry (too much!) about where we are heading next. I know for some people, this stage is hard. Patience seems like a joke. I have been there. But I want to encourage all you ladies that are not yet engaged or married that this time can be so sweet! For me, I am using this time to work on myself and become the person that God wants me to be. I have so much to learn and can grow in so many areas. I want to cherish this time so by the time I get married, I am fully prepared in my heart and mind for that.
Thanks for letting me hang out today!

Love this. :). I'm patiently waiting too. Even tho I have only been dating my boyfriend for 6 months we know we want to be together for the long haul. :)
I think knowing who you are is an important step to take before getting married. I think it is the reason I am ok with a long engagement (1.5years) but it is so important to know who you are before getting married :) great post :)
I can relate to this post so much! I love what Katie said about working on yourself while waiting for marriage. I'm so looking forward to getting married to my wonderful man but know I need to grow in so many areas and prepare my heart! What an awesome reminder :)
I agree with this so much! I'm single and waiting on MR. right and while I am SO ready for that moment, I know that God is using this time to teach me so much!
I really relate to this post! Waiting is hard, but it is a good time to prepare yourself! Such truth in this post!
