Another Monday morning is upon us, girls. I don't know if it really came through in my post last week, but I truly am loving my school this semester. The teacher's are positive, the administration is supportive, and the kids are just so much fun. One of my parts of the day is the morning message that one of the principals give. Every morning you hear a cheery voice come over the intercom and talk about the word of the day, the birthdays, and any announcements that need to be made. Every morning before the end of the announcements they say, "Make it a great day, or not, the choice is up to you." Isn't that true? We can make it a great day or we can make it a crummy day. It is OUR choice. No, we can't control our circumstances 100% of the time, but we CAN control our attitude. Today, I'm choosing to have a good attitude. Today, I'm choosing to embrace this red and pink month and make it the happiest month of 2013 so far. Today, I'm choosing to make it a great day!

"Our" house is all decked for the month of love and it just makes my heart happy to see red and pink here and there. If you can't tell I'm "one of those people" who loves Valentine's Day. :)

Our principal says the same thing in the morning! It's definitely a great reminder at the start of each day! So glad that you are enjoying your student teaching experience!
