couldn't be more excited about today. I've been mulling over the idea of a "different" kind of sponsorship for a while now and a few weeks ago when it all came together I could have jumped out of my skin in excitement.
Instead of just paying to promote your blogs and shops, you'll be joining the fight against slavery. Ever since Passion 2012 I've prayed and questioned what it is I could do to help end slavery. Sure, I can blog about it from time to time. Sure, I can give my money and pray. But, I want to do more. I want YOU to be passionate about ending slavery. I want YOU to join me in this fight.
Starting today, I'll be featuring a different organization every month that helps fight to end slavery. Some of these organizations actually go in and rescue women and children who have been trafficked. Some of these organizations place women who have been saved in safe houses. Some of these organizations help free people who are trapped in slave labor. These organizations do everything in their power to say NO to slavery and I want us to join in with that.
Even though my sponsorships won't exactly be monthly, you'll 100% be contributing to a different organization each month. Here's how it'll work: Half of the money will go directly to the organization of the month and the other half will go into ME sponsoring another blog. I feel that this is necessary because if I'm not actively growing my blog, you aren't going to want to sponsor this blog. And when you don't sponsor this blog, that's a little bit less money that is going to end slavery. And I want us to do big things.
These sponsorships really aren't about me. This isn't about growing my blog and making a buck or two, but this is about doing something that is greater than myself. This is about using my abilities to shine the light of Christ and to say NO to slavery. I have no idea where these sponsorships will take us. Heck, I don't even know if any of you will sponsor! But, I know that the Lord will work regardless. I know that He will do so much more than we can ever see. I know that together we can be a force for good.

I think this is amazing! Way to go, girl!
I love this! I am new to publicly blogging and I haven't really been interested in advertising my blog. Mostly because I want to make sure my blog is associated with people and posts that are in line with my life in Christ. This really got my attention and I love it! One of the reasons I was originally following your blog was because of the money you were raising for this cause last year. God is using you and your blog in big ways because you're letting him! Thanks for always inspiring:)
